Subject: Thank you!
Dear Ethan and Joyce,
Thank you for your hospitality. Staying with you has been so exciting. Not having to share a bedroom with my brother was amazing. Ethan, I really enjoyed your meals. A chef couldn’t have cooked better! We had a great time.
Also big thanks for showing us around London. It’s such a big city. We would have been lost without you. My brother and I really enjoyed the boat cruise on the Thamse. If the sun
hadn’t shined/shone (not shine), we would have been (be) cold but this way it was a great experience to be able to see lots of different sights. What I will never forget is the M&M World. We tried lots of new and exotic versions and I lked “birthday cake” and “pretzel” best. Jacob and I took a photo with Red and Yellow, too. If you want to have a look on it, it’s my new WhatsApp profile picture.
Additionally, I wanted to thank Katie and Matthew for helping us out with the police. When we wanted to describe/report the pickpocket to the police, we couldn’t because our English wasn’t good enough/sufficient.
Please tell me about your Christmas holidays. We would like to invite you to our home right after.
We ’re looking forward to seeing you both and Katie and Matthew whenever you want to.
Lots of love/ Best wishes
