ADVERBS

Adverbs are used to describe verbs, adjectives or other adverbs.

Adverbs answer: how, when, where, why, how often or how much.

For example: That puppy runs slowly.

ADJECTIVES

Adjectives are used to describe a noun or pronoun.

Adjectives often come before the word they describe.

For example: That is a cute puppy.

1. Sarah thinks quickly. (Adv.)

2. We performed badly. (Adv.)
