Why I Like My Job
Every day, I get to help people who are going through a difficult time. Some are scared, some are in pain, and others just need someone to talk to. I do my best to listen, support, and make them feel a little better. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
I enjoy working with a team. We all have different roles, but we share one goal: to take care of others. Sometimes, the days are long and stressful. But when I see someone smile because they feel safe or because they are getting better, it makes everything worthwhile.
Another reason I like my job is that I learn something new almost every day. Whether it’s understanding how the body works, using new tools, or finding better ways to comfort someone, I’m always growing.
The best part is knowing I make a difference. Even small actions—like offering kind words or a glass of water—can mean so much to someone who’s having a hard time. That’s what keeps me going, and that’s why I love what I do.
Of course, there are things I don’t enjoy. Sometimes I see people in very sad situations, and it can be hard not to take those feelings home with me. I also have to work night shifts and weekends, which means I often miss time with my family and friends. But even with these challenges, I still feel proud of what I do.
