Many people in this country like to travel abroad. We tried to find out more about our holiday habits, so we asked 200 people some questions. Here is what they said.



25% said they weren't going abroad for their next holiday. That means that 75% told us they were going somewhere in their own country. Sometimes you need money, so 36% said that they were going to get a job in the holidays.



84% told us that they only wanted to lie on the beach during their holidays. Maybe so that they don't have to learn a new language. Only 20% said that they wanted to teach a new language for their holidays and 60% told us that they wanted to go nowhere where people understood their own language.



33% of the people told that they had not been abroad and just 5% said that they had flown a plane in their life. But 4 out of 10 said /that they had already travelled by boat. But you know what is crazy? Just 35% told us that they had not eaten foreign food before.



To be a bit more concrete, here are some quick-facts:

• 27% said they were planning to do a lot of sightseeing
• 23% told that they were planning to visit different places in their holidays
• 68% said they were planning to stay in many places.
• 83% told us that they were going to steal some money to pay for their holidays.



Isn't that last fact shocking?
