1 TASK

You are part of a video game studio that develops levels for the game „Scribblenauts“.

  • As a group, think of a name for your studio.

  • Come up with a logo that fits your project.

  • Put your studio's name and logo on the first page of your portfolio.

  • a general storyline

  • a background graphic

  • at least three quests

  • at least three characters

  • examples of items that could be used to solve the quests

There is a list of useful phrases on the next page. You may also use your folders, dictionaries and yesterday's vocabulary list at all times.

A. First, take a piece of paper and collect your ideas as a group.

  • Think of a general theme for your level.

  • What sort of characters do you want to include?

  • What kinds of quests need to be solved?

B. Draw and describe your level. Include your thoughts and background information. Explain how the quests you designed could be solved.
