The his­to­ry of Li­ver­pool Foot­ball Club is an in­te­resting jour­ney of one of Eng­land's most fa­mous foot­ball teams! It all star­ted in 1892. Since then, the club has had many ups and downs, win­ning lots of tro­phies and be­co­ming known all over the world.

One of the first im­portant people for Li­ver­pool FC was a ma­na­ger named Tom Wat­son. Under his lea­der­ship, the club had its first suc­cess­ful pe­ri­od. Li­ver­pool won five Le­ague Cham­pi­on­ships until 1947.

Things star­ted to chan­ge in 1959 when a le­gen­da­ry ma­na­ger named Bill Shan­k­ly joi­ned Li­ver­pool. He worked hard to build the team back up. He gui­ded the club back into the First Di­vi­si­on, and led them to suc­cess in the 1970s and 1980s. The 1990s were a bit har­der for the club.
